We enhance this effect of natural beauty by hand-polishing our leather only with hard wax, making each pouch a unique one-of-a-kind item. Only a few parts of a hide are suitable for processing as full-grain leather, which is why only about one in 60 hides meets our quality standards. \u003cbr\u003eFull-grain buffalo leather is a particularly robust leather that develops a beautiful patina over the years and, with proper care, will last for decades. All original Alpenleder products are manufactured in our own production facilities by trained bag makers.
